I'll Be There

Almost a couple of months ago, there was a news that firstly seemed like a very bad taste joke, after I couldn't believe it, later during some days I ashamed over certain behave and currently it dismay me... Michael Jackson's death was like a big bucket of freeze water that surprise us, but that seemingly there was a while that it was happening slowly.
What I always admired of MJ, and I will keep admiring was his sensitivity. The heart and feeling he put in the songs. Maybe he wasn't the best singer, maybe he hadn't a great voice, but he replaced all that with a magic that came out of his throat and made one couldn't understand how that body so skinny could shudder with such musical passion.
And of course, I guess we are never going to be able to forget the famous Moonwalk. Definitively his trademark to eternity.
Sadly, with all the progressive defacement of his face, looking at him on TV or videos during the years of the new millennium caused me certain stinging... I felt like I was looking at a plastic dummy that was animated by someone from behind the scenes. It seemed visually shocking and I preferred to dedicate myself to listen and not seeing him.
Maybe because of that, I turn to the biggest hit of the Jackson 5. This beautiful song summarizes everything the I liked about Michael. One time I read over there that Mowtown executive staff couldn't understand how a little boy of only 11 years could sing that song with such understanding and emotion... that was the truly talent of Michael Joseph Jackson. May he Rest In Peace.
